5G now reaches Kiruna and Gällivare

This week we switched on 5G in Kiruna and Gällivare, completing the 2026 roll-out in Norrbotten. Our 5G network now reaches 94% of the population in the county, up from 71% a year ago.

The new sites run on renewable hydropower and use 30% less energy per transferred gigabyte than our 4G sites.
